My Role

The holiday season is a busy, indulgent time of year when people aren’t focused on exercise and wellbeing. We needed to create something that would motivate top tier media and influencers to train throughout this period, whilst showcasing Nike women's innovative product offering and services.

We created a Christmas cracker advent calendar, which we gifted to 12 key editors throughout the first 12 days of December. Each cracker told the story or demonstrated the innovation behind the Nike products contained inside. We targeted Elle, Vogue, Grazia, Harper’s Bazaar and Women’s Health along with influential UK fitness vloggers and bloggers.

 

Working with the consumer PR team, I designed and produced the crackers in an incredibly short turn around to a very modest budget. One of the biggest challenges was combining the slick, bold and powerful Nike brand with a holiday theme, which can be tacky. This project resulted in massive social presence with journalists shouting about their gifts on their channels. It was a very simple but very successful campaign.
